Overview:  MEP Cost Consultancy Role

Stafford Lawrence Ltd is urgently seeking an exceptional, Chartered MRICS MEP Associate Cost Consultant/ Associate MEP Technical Director for a permanent, high-profile position with a world-class Construction Consultancy firm in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (KSA).

This is a senior-level opportunity demanding a proven track record in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Cost Consultancy. We are looking for a candidate with the gravitas and experience to manage prestigious, complex projects and engage with clients at a senior level.

Non-Negotiable Requirements Strict Compliance Mandatory

The requirements for this role are strict. DO NOT APPLY unless you meet all the criteria listed below.

  • Chartered Status: You MUST be MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors – Quantity Surveying pathway).
  • Education: You MUST hold a BSc Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management from a reputable university.
  • Sector Focus: You MUST have dedicated experience as an MEP Quantity Surveyor or MEP Cost Consultant.
  • Experience Level: No less than 17-20 years of post-qualification experience in Cost Consultancy, the majority of which should be in MEP projects.
  • Employer Type: Essential prior experience working for a well-known Cost Consultancy organisation. Candidates from Main Contractors will NOT be considered.
  • Contract Focus: Solid experience in both Pre-Contract and Post-Contract services. Must have FIDIC contract knowledge.
  • Availability: Available to start within 1 -3 months

Desirable Skills & Project Experience

  • Location Experience: Previous Middle East Cost Consultancy experience (especially GCC) is highly desirable. Preference given to candidates with overseas experience.
  • Project Portfolio: Demonstrated experience across large-scale developments such as: Mixed-Use, Commercial, Residential, Hotels, Museums, Stadiums, or Entertainment Venues.

Salary & Benefits Package

An excellent, highly competitive total package is on offer for the right candidate who meets all requirements.

  • Basic Salary: Circa 50,000 – 57,000 SAR per month (tax-free in KSA).
