The Role: Cost Consultancy

Our client is a prestigious, long-standing British-owned Cost Consultancy in Qatar. They are expanding and are recruiting for talent to join their team. You’ll be applying your hard-earned PQS skills to exciting Mixed-Use, Commercial, and Residential projects across Doha. This is a brilliant, career-defining relocation for a consultant looking to gain serious international experience. This position requires strong Post Contract experience.

Salary & Package: 25,000 QAR – 35,000 QAR Total Package (Tax-Free & Dependent on Experience). See detailed package information below.

The Requirements for the MRICS Quantity Surveyor Qatar

Your Credentials: You must already have attained MRICS Chartered Status – Quantity Surveying route.

Post Degree Experience:  A minimum of 3-5 years post-degree experience with a Consultancy organisation. If you have a mix of Consultancy and Contracting this is also acceptable.

Your PQS Pedigree: A strong history with a recognised UK Cost Consultancy PQS firm.

Client Requirements: Our client absolutely insists your CV must show commitment, not musical chairs! So if you have 2-3 years with the same organisation this is positive. However, if you have moved every year or 6 months and never stayed the course to complete a project, then you will not be selected for interview. Lets face it, we know this client well, its just not going to work for them.

The Degree Detail: This is critical: You must hold a 3-year full-time degree specifically in Quantity Surveying. Forget that 2-year MSc and a degree in Medieval History, Sports Science Geography, or Civil Engineering—Sorry its QS or nothing for this client! Their requirements, their rules.

Contracts Experience : Our client operates using internal PQS standards closely aligned with UK-based JCT and NEC contract administration. Successful candidates must be fully proficient in these methodologies to ensure seamless project delivery and consistency with our client’s established reporting procedures.”

This is your initiation into the GCC: you must not be currently working in the Middle East. Finally, we prefer a Single Status candidate as additional family allowances are not available—this adventure is all about you (and your career).
