Global Recruiting Scope (20+ Years Experience)

We recruit for QS and Cost Consultants at all levels across all major international markets.

Region Sample Countries
Middle East Saudi Arabia (KSA), UAE (Dubai, Abu Dhabi), Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman
Asia & APAC Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and other locations across Asia
Americas USA, Canada (from time to time)
Other Locations Bahamas, Maldives, Sao Tome and Principe (periodically)

We place candidates who are both seasoned expatriates and first-time international movers (subject to meeting specific client requirements).

Core Requirements for Overseas QS Roles

For ALL international QS/Cost Consultant vacancies with our clients, candidates must generally meet the following strict criteria:

  1. Chartered Status (Mandatory): MRICS is the gold standard for our PQS clients, but strong candidates with MCIOB or equivalent status may be considered.
  2. PQS Consultancy Experience: Minimum 3 years post-qualification (post-degree) experience gained specifically with a Cost Consultancy / PQS firm (e.g., Arcadis, AECOM, Gleeds, Currie & Brown, or similar smaller PQS).
  3. Qualifications: A Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a relevant Engineering discipline.
  4. Contract Experience: Solid, proven experience in both Pre-Contract and Post-Contract cost management phases.
  5. International Mobility: Must be willing and able to relocate internationally.

Note: While some clients require previous ‘in-country’ experience or local nationality due to quotas, we do have roles open to highly qualified MRICS candidates who are new to overseas work.
