Language Requirements for the Senior Cost Consultant Japan 上級数量測量士

  • Japanese: Fluent JLPT N1 or N2 equivalent, native or advanced proficiency is ESSENTIAL.

  • English: Intermediate English skills are desirable. Please submit your CV in English.

Key Requirements for the Senior Cost Consultant Japan

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Senior Cost Consultant.

  • Education: A degree in Quantity Surveying is highly valued.  Other construction-related degrees can be considered, provided you can demonstrate strong, relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor.

  • Professional Status: Chartered MRICS status is desirable but not essential. Our client is highly supportive of candidates currently working towards their APC.

  • Soft Skills: Ability to work effectively under pressure, plan your own workload, and exercise initiative. Strong communication and client-liaison skills are critical, as this role involves reporting directly to clients on behalf of the consultancy.

  • Location: Preference for candidates already based in Japan.
