The Role Senior Quantity Surveyor Cost Consultancy Job Vacancy

This position is designed for a dynamic Quantity Surveyor who is ready to move up to a senior role or a current Senior Cost Consultant seeking a broader variety of project exposure.

Please note: This is a client-facing position. It is best suited for those who enjoy taking ownership of projects, liaising with stakeholders, and contributing to business growth. If you are looking for a role that remains strictly in the back office, this position will not be a match.

Candidate Requirements

We are seeking a candidate who brings both technical capability and the ambition to grow with the team.

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within a well-known Cost Consultancy or PQS firm.

  • Education: A BSc in Quantity Surveying or an RICS-accredited construction degree.

  • Sector Experience: A strong background in a combination of Mixed-Use, Commercial, Residential, Healthcare, or Civils projects.

  • Professional Status: MRICS Chartered status is highly desirable. Candidates currently working towards their APC are encouraged to apply, as the firm provides comprehensive training and mentoring.

  • Location: Candidates should be based in or within commuting distance of London.

  • Personal Attributes: Proven ability to manage projects independently, mentor junior staff, and a proactive desire to get involved in business development and team growth.

  • Right to Work: Candidates must possess a valid right to live and work in the United Kingdom. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
