As a key member of the Gloucester team, you will provide comprehensive pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying and Cost Management services. You will work on a diverse range of projects, including commercial, residential, public, and private sector developments.


Key Responsibilities for the Quantity Surveyor vacancy in Gloucester

  • Manage your own projects, leveraging your experience across all RIBA Stages.
  • Provide expert Quantity Surveying and Cost Management services.
  • Utilize your knowledge of JCT or NEC contracts for sustainable construction.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure project success.
  • Mentor junior team members (a bonus).

What Our Client is Looking For

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying (RICS-accredited preferred) or a related construction qualification.
  • 3-5 years’ post-qualification experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a Cost Consultancy.
  • Experience in diverse sectors, with a preference for residential projects.
  • MRICS Chartered Status or actively working towards APC; MCIOB will also be considered.
  • Proficiency with cost management software (e.g., CostX) and Microsoft 365.
  • Excellent communication and client liaison skills.
  • Located within commuting distance of Gloucester,Worcester.
  • Full, clean UK driving license.
